PDP Affirms Maurice Vunobolki as 2027 Adamawa Governorship Candidate
Yola, Adamawa State - May 25, 2026 The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has officially affirmed Chief Maurice Vunobolki as its governorship candidate for the 2027 general election, in a ceremony marked by strong party unity and political significance. The affirmation exercise was conducted by Hon. Debo Olugunagba, the Chairman of the PDP National Electoral Committee, who presided over the proceedings before the Independent National Electoral Commission, party stakeholders, delegates, supporters, and members of the PDP family across the state. The motion for the adoption of Vunobolki’s candidacy was moved by Hon. Jafar Suleiman Ribadu of Yola South and seconded by Hon. Barr.
