Chief Maurice Vunobolki Submits PDP Governorship Nomination Forms, Reaffirmed Commitment to Adamawa

Abuja, Nigeria — May 14, 2026

PDP Governorship aspirant, Chief Maurice Vunobolki, has formally submitted his Expression of Interest and Gubernatorial Nomination Forms at the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party, popularly known as Wadata House, in Abuja, signaling a significant step in his bid to contest for the governorship of Adamawa State under the Peoples Democratic Party platform.

Vunobolki was received by members of the party’s National Working Committee led by the National Chairman, Hon. Abdulraham Mohammed, during the submission process on Tuesday.

Speaking after the exercise, the Adamawa-born philanthropist and political leader described the moment as more than a routine political procedure, emphasizing that it represented a renewed pledge to the people of Adamawa State.

According to him, the aspiration is anchored on a collective vision to consolidate ongoing development efforts while building a more united, secure, and prosperous state for all citizens.

Chief Vunobolki also expressed appreciation to supporters, stakeholders, and well-wishers across the state for their continued prayers, encouragement, and steadfast support throughout the consultation and nomination process.

He assured residents that his political journey would continue to be guided by humility, hope, and a people-centered approach to leadership.

“The people remain our priority,” he stated, while reaffirming his commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development across Adamawa State.



The submission of the nomination forms marks another milestone in the evolving political landscape ahead of the forthcoming governorship contest in Adamawa State, as party activities gradually gather momentum.
