NOA Adamawa Embarks on National Flag Restoration Campaign

Yola, Adamawa - August 7, 2025

The National Orientation Agency Adamawa State Directorate,  in fulfilling its mandate in  promoting the restoration and respect for Nigeria’s National Symbols an essential pillar of the National Identity Project has launched a massive campaign and distribution of the Nigerian National Flag.

The campaign specifically targets both public and private institutions across the state. Its core objective is to ensure that only the correct and dignified versions of the National Flag are displayed, while replacing all tattered, faded, or incorrect versions currently in use.

According to the agency, the initiative is in response to growing concerns over the improper representation of Nigeria’s National Symbols, which undermines their symbolic value and significance.

The campaign further seeks to reinforce the pride of place the National Flag holds in fostering unity, patriotism, and a collective sense of national identity.

Through this exercise, the NOA calls on institutions to join the movement by displaying the correct version of the Nigerian Flag in good condition, in line with the spirit of national reawakening and respect for shared national values.
