The All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamawa State Chapter, wishes to officially inform all party stakeholders, aspirants, and members of the public that the entourage from the APC National Secretariat, Abuja, which arrived in Yola today, has successfully delivered the sensitive materials earlier delayed for the Adamawa Central Senatorial District Primary Election.
It would be recalled that the exercise earlier scheduled for Monday, 18th May, 2026, could not hold due to unforeseen logistical challenges arising from the delayed arrival of the required sensitive materials from the national headquarters of the party.
Following the successful receipt and confirmation of the materials, the party is pleased to announce that the Adamawa Central Senatorial District Primary Election will now hold on Saturday, 23rd May, 2026, alongside the Presidential Primary Election of the party.The APC Adamawa State Chapter therefore calls on all aspirants, party faithful, and supporters to brace up for the exercise and continue to conduct themselves peacefully, responsibly, and in line with the democratic ideals of the party.
All aspirants are further encouraged to mobilize their supporters and ensure massive participation on the said date as the party remains fully committed to a free, fair, transparent, and credible electoral process for all contestants.
The leadership of the party appreciates the patience, maturity, and understanding demonstrated by stakeholders and members of the Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone throughout the period of the postponement.
The APC remains united, focused, and determined to deepen internal democracy while strengthening the confidence of members ahead of the 2027 general elections.
