PLANNED POWER OUTAGE: Adamawa, Taraba, Yobe to Experience Daytime Supply Interruption for 6 Weeks

Yola,  Adamawa State - April 8, 2026

Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YolaDisco) has announced a planned outage on the Jos–Bauchi–Gombe 330kV transmission line from 9th April to 22nd May 2026.

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) will carry out maintenance and upgrade work along the 276km route.

During this period, customers in Adamawa, Taraba, and Yobe States will experience outages on at least four days per week, between 09:00 and 18:00 hours (9 AM – 6 PM) .

Customer Advisory:

Communities are advised to protect transformers and electrical equipment from vandalism. Report suspicious activity to YolaDisco immediately.
