Vunobolki Congratulates Governor Fintiri as he is Honoured with NEAPS Governor of the Year Award

Chief Maurice Vunobolki, Congratulates the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, as he is named Governor of the Year on Urban Infrastructure at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS), marking his third consecutive recognition for outstanding leadership and public service.
The award ceremony, which was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, brought together dignitaries, public officials, and a large delegation of Adamawa stakeholders, one of whom is Chief Maurice vunobolki, Dyapa Bwatiye and Ebubedike Ndigbo I, who turned out to celebrate what many described as another milestone in the state’s transformation journey.NEAPS—a prominent award platform organised by The Best Strategic PR (TBS) in partnership with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), honours individuals and institutions for exemplary service, innovation, and impactful governance across Nigeria.
Governor Fintiri’s 2025 award underscores his achievements in urban renewal, infrastructure development, digital and financial innovation, public-sector reforms, enhanced security coordination, and a governance philosophy anchored on transparency and accountability.
In recognition of these accomplishments, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) His Excellency Sen. George Akume commended Governor Fintiri and other awardees' contributions to national development, describing the governor’s efforts as reflective of a new era of progressive and inclusive leadership in the country.Speaking on the sidelines of the event on behalf of his organization and other good people of Adamawa state, Chief Maurice Vunobolki, PhD, praised the governor’s sustained commitment to modernizing Adamawa State, noting that the honour “comes as no surprise” to those who have witnessed the state’s rapid advancements under Fintiri’s administration.
He further states that, “Governor Fintiri continues to demonstrate a visionary and people-centred approach to governance.” “His achievements inspire pride among the people of Adamawa, and we stand firmly behind him as he positions our state as a model of excellence in Nigeria.”Chief Vunobolki—who holds the titles of Dyapa Bwatiye and Ebubedike Ndigbo I—joined other leaders in congratulating the governor, expressing confidence that the recognition will further energize ongoing development efforts across the state.
