PDP Leadership Launches Empowerment Initiative in Lamurde Local Government

 Lamurde, Adamawa State - December 5, 2025

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Executive Council for Adamawa State, led by State Chairman Hon. Hamza Alhaji Bello Madagali, convened a significant engagement event in Lamurde Local Government Area today. The gathering highlighted the party's ongoing grassroots initiatives and community development agenda.

A key outcome of the event was the official launch of the Lamurde Empowerment Programme, an initiative by the Lamurde Local Government Chairman designed to promote socio-economic growth and assist vulnerable demographics, including farmers, artisans, youth, and women.

Aligned with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's vision for inclusive development, the programme facilitated the distribution of substantial resources, including:

• Automobiles

• Motorcycles

• Agricultural equipment

• Various tools and materials for economic support

The distribution process targeted a wide range of beneficiaries to ensure equitable and inclusive representation across the local government area.

In his address, State ALGON Chairman Hon. Suleiman Gangkuba commended the Lamurde Local Government Chairman for his commitment to aligning local efforts with the state's human capital development objectives.

State PDP Chairman Hon. Hamza Alhaji Bello Madagali reiterated the party's and state government's dedication to broad-based empowerment, affirming initiatives like this are being pursued across all 21 Local Government Areas in Adamawa State.
