Governor Fintiri To Be Honoured For The Third Time With Excellence In Public Service Award

 

Yola, Adamawa - November 21, 2025 

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, is set to receive the prestigious Presidential Award for Excellence in Governance for the third consecutive time, as contained in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary To The Governor.Humwashi Wonosikou.

The award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to national development and distinguished service to Nigeria, will be presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, during the 2025 Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) on December 7th at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to the statement, Governor Fintiri will be honored as the best-performing Governor in Infrastructure and Urban Development. 

Accepting the award, the Governor expressed his gratitude for the recognition, acknowledging the significance of the award as a testament to his administration's tireless efforts to drive growth and development in Adamawa State.

Governor Fintiri expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu and the award committee for the recognition, reaffirming his administration's commitment to continue working towards the growth and development of Adamawa State. "This award serves as a motivation to continue driving progress and prosperity in our state. We will continue to prioritize infrastructure development, improve governance, and enhance the quality of life for our citizens," he said.
