NEW MONTH MESSAGE FROM MAURICE VUNOBOLKI – AUGUST 2025

 

Yola, Adamawa- August 1, 2025

As we step into August, on behalf of Chief Dr. Maurice Vunobolki, Dyapa Bwatiye, family, and all affiliate organizations, we extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to all citizens of our great state, Adamawa, and the nation of Nigeria. Especially, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the State Executive Council, State House of Assembly, Our Royal Fathers, and the entire good people of our state. 

This New Month presents another opportunity for productivity, growth, unity, and collective progress in Adamawa State. May it bring success to our farmers, strength to our youth, peace to our communities, and renewed hope to every home and community.

We are, however, deeply saddened by the devastating impact of the recent flash flooding across parts of our state, especially the recent flood in part of Yola South that took lives and destroyed properties. Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected families. 

Chief Vunobolki stands in solidarity with you and commends the efforts of government, emergency responders, humanitarian organizations, individuals, and community volunteers who have come to the aid of those in distress. We pray that the Lord will not allow such to happen again.

It is our sincere prayer that the remaining period of the rainy/farming season will be disaster-free, and that efforts will be intensified to strengthen early warning systems, improve preparedness, and protect the lives and livelihoods of our communities. Let us continue to support one another, remain resilient, and work toward a safer and more prosperous Adamawa State, as August brings us good tidings.
