Governor Fintiri Mourns the Loss of Former Senator, Elder Statesman Muhammad Mana

The Adamawa State Government has announced with profound sorrow the passing of distinguished elder statesman and former Senator, Colonel Muhammad Mana.
The news of his death was received with deep sadness by the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON, who paid a heartfelt tribute to the late senator's lifetime of service to the nation.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, Governor Fintiri eulogized Senator Mana as a man whose life was "marked by service, sacrifice, and dedication to the cause of nation-building."The Governor highlighted the late senator's illustrious career, which began in the military where he rose to the rank of Colonel. He later served as the Military Administrator of Plateau State, where he was remembered as a "disciplined officer and patriotic leader."
"In 2007, the people of Adamawa North found in him a worthy representative and sent him to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). There, he carried out his legislative duties with humility, dignity, and an abiding commitment to justice, fairness, and development," the Governor's statement read.
Governor Fintiri described Senator Mana's demise as “a huge loss not only to Adamawa State, but to the entire nation.”
He extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, the people of the Adamawa North Senatorial District, and all Nigerians grieving the loss.
The Governor concluded with a prayer, saying, “I pray Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul firdaus (the highest paradise), and give his family the strength to bear the loss.”
Senator Muhammad Mana is remembered as a key figure in Adamawa's political landscape and a dedicated public servant whose contributions spanned the military, governance, and the legislative arm of government.
