Don't Be Fooled by Graders," Fintiri Aide Tells Ganye Voters, Slams APC's "Desperate Tactics

Yola, Adamawa State - August 13, 2025

With elections approaching in Ganye LGA, Governor Fintiri's spokesperson, Humwashi Wonosikou, has advised voters to scrutinize the motivation behind recent infrastructure activity by the opposition APC, specifically the deployment of a road grading machine.

Wonosikou characterized the grading as a superficial, election-timed "public relations stunt," contrasting it with what he described as the APC's years of neglecting key projects like the Jalingo-Numan and Numan-Gombe roads. He suggested the APC's actions were prompted only by Governor Fintiri commencing the Ganye-Mbulo Road project.

"Ganye people are enlightened; they won't be misled by a grading machine raising dust days before an election," Wonosikou stated. He stressed that authentic development, demonstrated by Fintiri's investments in infrastructure, schools, healthcare, and jobs, contrasts sharply with the APC's "stage-managed" efforts. He urged voters to remember the PDP's record and vote peacefully without intimidation.

The spokesperson emphasized that tangible development requires long-term commitment. He expressed confidence that Ganye's electorate would recognize the difference and not be swayed by last-minute gestures, urging peaceful participation in the polls and support for the PDP's governance record.
