NOA INTENSIFIES ADVOCACY ON NATIONAL IDENTITY AND VALUES CHARTER IN ADAMAWA

The visit hinges on the National Identity Project Of the NOA

As part of its ongoing nationwide campaign on the National Identity Project and the National Values Charter, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) Adamawa State Directorate has embarked on strategic engagement with religious leaders in the state this was contained in a statement released by Manugarcha Daniel, Head, Media and Communications.

The State Director of NOA, Mr. Richard Bala Dangari, led advocacy visits to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Muslim Council of Adamawa State to deepen collaboration in promoting national unity, peaceful coexistence, and shared values among Nigerians warmly.

The statement further revealed that, the visit took NOA's officials to the CAN Secretariat, were they warmly received by Rev. Dr. Joel Manzo, who commended the Agency’s commitment to uniting Nigerians through value reorientation. He expressed readiness to support NOA’s efforts by mobilizing churches to disseminate the messages of the campaign.

Similarly, at the Muslim Council Secretariat, Dr. Salihi Ibrahim Ateeq, Vice President I of the Council, reiterated the importance of identity and values in nation-building. He assured NOA of the Council’s willingness to partner in sensitizing the Muslim faithful across the state.

Mr. Dangari emphasized the significance of involving religious institutions in promoting the National Values Charter, noting that both Christian and Muslim leaders play a crucial role in shaping societal attitudes.

The visits mark a major step in strengthening stakeholder collaboration in support of the national reorientation agenda.
