"Lord of the Manor" Jibe: Dele Momodu Blasts APC, Vows Never to Join

Lagos, Nigeria– June 11, 2025

Prominent People's Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and media mogul, Chief Dele Momodu, has issued a scathing rejection of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), employing stark feudal imagery to denounce what he perceives as its autocratic leadership structure.

Momodu, publisher of Ovation Magazine and a former presidential aspirant, left no room for ambiguity regarding his political allegiance. "I definitely won’t join APC," he declared emphatically.

His reasoning cut to the heart of internal party dynamics, delivering a blistering critique of concentrated power within the APC. "I cannot sit in a room," Momodu stated, "where one man will dictate to able-bodied adults who have worked all their lives and say that he is the Lord of the manor."

The "Lord of the manor" analogy paints a vivid picture of an outdated, hierarchical system where a single figure wields absolute authority, reducing experienced and accomplished party members to mere subjects rather than equals.
