National Values NOA in Adamawa State Calls for Partnership with Political Parties to Advance

Yola, Adamawa State- May 15, 2025

The Adamawa State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has urged political parties to collaborate in promoting national unity, patriotism, and environmental consciousness.

During a state-wide campaign, the NOA State Director, Mr. Richard Bala Dangari, emphasized the critical role of political parties in fostering national cohesion. He reiterated NOA’s mandate to mobilize citizens, stressing that sustainable unity requires the active participation of political stakeholders.

Dangari also disclosed that the Federal Executive Council endorsed the National Identity Project in 2024, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expected to launch the National Values Charter in early 2025.

The charter, he explained, will serve as a social contract between the government and citizens, outlining Nigeria’s core values and national identity. Additionally, he urged law enforcement agencies, particularly the police, to exemplify these values to strengthen public trust and patriotism.

The event featured interactive sessions where representatives of political parties engaged in discussions and shared insights on the National Identity Project.
