Interactive Engagement: Fintiri Sustainable Community Module

Yola, Adamawa, 30 May, 2025

The office of the Principal Special Assistant-PSA to the Governor on Social Mobilization under the leadership of the Executive Governor of Adamawa State Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri-CON is unfolding a special edition of its quarterly interactive engagement with the good people of the state with the view of bringing governance to everyone’s doorstep.

This innovative initiative is tailored toward a sustainability framework designed for entrepreneurs across communities from the twenty-one LGAs with the view to empowering and promoting the people with adaptable solutions to drive local growth in line with the vision of grassroots development of Gov. Fintiri.

The dream of the PSA to the governor on Social Mobilization, Dr. Dogo Victor, is to translate the vision of His Excellency into reality by leveraging the peculiarities of each community’s unique strengths.

The module fosters youth and women’s engagement while creating revenue-generating opportunities. It enhances efficiency across service and production sectors, supported by readily available local markets.

Key components include:

  • Hide and skin processing
  • Commercial grinding services
  • Large-scale grain sorting and packaging centers
  • Mini modular sugar production units
  • Portable drinking water facilities
  • Fish drying systems
  • Organic fertilizer production…and much more!

Beyond infrastructure, the module provides communities with access to loans, cooperative partnership training, and administrative guidance. However, its success depends on proper training and knowledge transfer.

To ensure effective implementation, key stakeholders will participate in specialized seminars, equipping them to mobilize their communities. Meanwhile, the government remains committed to fostering an enabling socio-economic environment for sustainable progress.

Furthermore, this next engagement would have full involvement of the 21 LGAs. Each chairman/chairperson would be involved in the selection process of women and youths, their skills/trade for better presentation.

Unlike the previous editions of the interactive engagement, this next edition would open up the state for investors to identify opportunities, evaluate these potentials and commit to investing in Adamawa state the next haven for business growth in an emerging economy in Nigeria.
