Adamawa Debt Management Agency Appoints New Director General

Yola, Adamawa State-May 1, 2025

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has approved the immediate appointment of Professor Ibrahim Danjuma as the new Director General of the State’s Debt Management Agency. The announcement was made in an official statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary on Wednesday, April 30.  

Professor Danjuma is a renowned academic and administrator with an outstanding professional background. 

A Fellow of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management, he has previously served as Dean of the School of Management and Information Technology at Modibbo Adama University, Yola, as well as Chair and Head of the Department of Business Administration and Management at the American University of Nigeria, Yola.  

Governor Fintiri congratulated Professor Danjuma on his new role, emphasizing his extensive experience and achievements in academia and administration. The Governor expressed confidence that Professor Danjuma’s expertise would significantly improve the state’s financial management strategies.
