Adamawa State Strategic Engagement: Unpacking Governance for a Greater Future

 

Yola, Adamawa State – March 9, 2025

The Adamawa State Government, through the Office of Social Mobilization, successfully is holding its third “Strategic Engagement scheduled for the 15 of March, 2025. The engagement is a testament reaffirming the governor’s commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development. The event, a quarterly initiative, brings together stakeholders from diverse sectors of the economy, political leaders, and community representatives to assess progress, discuss challenges, and recommend actionable solutions for the betterment of Adamawa State.  

Under the leadership of the Executive Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri-CON, the engagement Primarily focus on unpacking the deliverables of governance and ensuring that the benefits of democracy reach every citizen. Governor Fintiri’s administration has been defined by a people-centered approach, guided by the philosophy that “no one should be left behind, and no stone should be left unturned.” This simple but strong and audacious principle has driven significant achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and human capital development across the state.  

The event’s convener by Dr. Dogo Victor, Principal Special Assistant to Governor Fintiri on Social Mobilization, is a visionary leader and staunch advocate of Governor Fintiri’s transformative agenda. At every one of these events, Dr. Victor emphasizes the importance of collaboration and accountability in achieving the state’s development goals. He emphatically explains that “This engagement is not just a forum for dialogue; it is a call to action” 

Every meeting affords all the opportunity to listen, learn, and work together to ensure that the dividends of governance are felt by every citizen of Adamawa State.

For this third edition of the engagement, keynote speaker and other stakeholders are expected to focus on the theme: “Adamawa Year of Service, Our Role in The Nigeria First Project”  The theme will spotlighting the possibilities and outcomes of selfless service, harnessing women and youth inclusivity towards a greater nation  a case study of Governor Fintiri’s model for development.

The third Strategic Engagement hopes to ignite a renewed sense of purpose and a clear roadmap for action with the view to incorporate it into Nigeria’s National Plan.

Finally, as Adamawa State continues on its path to greatness, the Strategic Engagement will stand as a testament to the power of collaboration, transparency, and visionary leadership. With Governor Fintiri at the helm and the active participation of its citizens, Adamawa State is poised to achieve its full potential as a model of inclusive and sustainable development.
